A lady, whom I met through our mutual love of food, has recently passed away. However, a few weeks ago, she entrusted me with two of her precious chilli plants. I have decided to make a batch of Tomato, red onion and chilli chutney, using her chillies. I will donate the proceeds of this batch to MacMillan in her name. We shall be at the Autumn Real food Fair at Hawarden Farm shop, just outside Chester, 10 - 4pm. Fun for all the family and tasty chutneys and award winning chilli sauces to try!
The weather forescast may be terrible, but my chutneys are just wonderful! Pop along to the RSPB site just outside Conwy on the A55. Entrance to the market is free - and it is in a marquee. 9am -1pm.
Rhug Farm shop is holding its Christmas food event. In addition to all that wonderful food, there will be carol singers - and even a skating rink!!
